We are concerned about the safety of our students on these foggy winter mornings. As visibility is very poor, it is particularly important for drivers to have their vehicle headlights switched on. We have students who are crossing Waerenga Road to get to school and it is essential that they are able to see any oncoming traffic.
In addition, if you are dropping students off at school in the morning, please do not use the college car park or the entrance to the Golf Club. You may use the bus bay – close to the entrance to the college, or the car park directly across from the school. (Please note also that the bus bay is strictly out of bounds for pick up after school until after 3.15 pm).
