Currently, there are no ‘Out of Zone’ vacancies.
Regular and positive communication between home and school is of benefit to your student and we want that to happen. We need to start now to ensure that your student’s transition to our College is a smooth one.
Enhanced self-esteem, academic gain and the wish to try out new things will come about if you and your student are comfortable members of the College community and we will aim to achieve this.
Please review the material online before formally enrolling. We also have enrolment packs available from our school office.
Enrolment packs have a number of forms in them which require completing prior to enrolment. Please write NEATLY and CLEARLY on all forms and fill in as much as possible of the enrolment material before your enrolment meeting.
Please bring your student with you to enrolment appointments. We also require a copy of their birth certificate or a current valid passport and if applicable copies of citizenship paper/student visa.
Enrolment Zone:
To avoid overcrowding, or the likelihood of overcrowding, the Board of Te Kauwhata has implemented an enrolment scheme that has been developed by the Secretary for Education.
Under this scheme, students will be enrolled if they live within the home zone described below.
The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education and Training Act 2020.
The enrolment scheme, which includes a precise description of the home zone, may be viewed at the school office or below.
