Our very first Community Event that aims to inform, share and empower all community members, is being held at the Te Kauwhata Domain this Thursday. This will start at 2:00pm and run till 7:00pm.
This event will allow everyone in our community to be able to speak to a variety of organisations that offer wellbeing, health, social, education, and career services. People who attend will be able to find out what supports and assistance is on offer to them in the North Waikato area. Examples of organisations attending are:

Hicks Contruction – digger simulator and careers info
Creative Waikato
Health NZ Disability Services
Waikato Tainui – education and health services
Hospice Waikato
Heartland Rural Services
NZMA – careers/education opportunities

There will also be food stalls, performances and games – so something for everyone will be on offer. This event is a first of its kind in our area, so we are hoping to see as many people there as possible to support this new initiative.
