We are currently looking for work experience for our Gateway students at Te Kauwhata College. Gateway gives students fantastic opportunities to start on a career that they are passionate about and get started in the workforce. These placements are unpaid and aim to give our students experience in the industry.
These placements last for 10 days and can be spread out over 2 weeks in the holidays or 10 weeks throughout the school term, or a mix of the two. We are on the lookout for work placements in the following areas:
Farming
Electrical
Mechanical Engineering
Building
Plumbing
Landscaping
Automotive
Sport
Art
We would love to stay local, and give our students opportunities in their own town and support the community. If you are a business who would like to host a student but you aren’t on the list, we would love to hear from you for our future students.
