Payment Options

ACTIVITY CHARGES
These relate to any extra-curricular activities your student chooses to do. They include all
sporting teams/events, drama activities, kapa haka, itinerant music lessons and optional
school trips, etc. Again the charges relate directly to the costs involved in the activities and,
therefore, they are compulsory if the student takes part in the activity.

DONATION
This school is a member of the Government’s School Donations Scheme. Therefore, no
general donation will be requested, and all curriculum costs are paid by the school.
The only donation possibly requested would relate to any overnight trips or camps as the
Government does not fund schools for accommodation or food costs.

HOW TO PAY
Course costs and other charges are entered onto students’ accounts and statements are
sent home once per term. They can be paid by cash, EFTPOS at the Student
Centre, or via internet banking. The College’s bank account details are:

Bank: ASB
Branch: Pukekohe
Account Name: Te Kauwhata College
Account Number: 12-3023-0525444-00

Automatic Payments (AP)
Many families find setting up an AP helps to spread the cost of school fees and we prefer
payment this way. We accept payments from as little as $5.00 a week/$10.00 a fortnight. If
you set up an AP the payments will be allocated to your student’s account to pay off
compulsory costs, activity fees, etc. so please use the Student ID and name as a reference.
APs can either be set up online or go to your bank to fill out their form using the school
details as above.
