My name is Sera Henare and I am fortunate enough to represent Too Taatou Haerenga, our North Waikato Kaahui Ako in the role of Across Schools Teacher.
It brings me great joy to share the following information with our wonderful community groups. I would like to warmly invite you to our Matariki celebrations for 2023. This year Te kura tuatahi o Te Kauwhata (TKP) will be hosting. The gates open at 3.30 with performances commencing from 4 pm until 6.30 pm. The date is Wednesday 28 June 2023.
There will be cash sales for kai if you would like to support some of our local school fundraisers. This event is Para Kore/Zero Waste so we are looking after Papatūānuku, Ranginui/our environment, upholding our kaitiaki principles and protecting our planet from rubbish. Therefore, we ask that people wanting to buy kai bring their own plate/bowl if possible.
The evening may be chilly so please tell your friends, family, and tamariki to dress warm.
