Uniform Policy

NEW FOR WINTER 2018

Our Student Council has raised funds to be able to offer short-sleeved thermals at a subsidised cost for students to wear under their school uniform.  These are now available from the Student Centre for just $8.00 - first in, first served.  They are a good quality, Macpac brand.  Only these style thermals are approved for wear under uniform.

Long sleeved tops are not permitted under uniform.  Non-uniform jumpers, coats, hoodies, etc. and other non-uniform outer-wear are also not permitted.

_______________________________________________________________________

PLEASE ENSURE ALL UNIFORM IS NAMED.  We have 500 students all wearing the same clothes and it is impossible to distinguish between items if they are not named.  This is particularly important for jackets, jumpers and cardigans because students take them off when they get hot and they can become misplaced very easily.  Please check regularly that the names are still clear and visible.

SHOES

Parents/caregivers must ensure their students wear the correct shoes to school.  Details of acceptable styles of shoes can be found on the attached Uniform Policy document.

NB: Students who do not have the correct shoes may receive detention unless they have a note from a parent/caregiver saying why they are not able to wear correct school shoes on a temporary basis. This situation must be rectified at the earliest opportunity.

Socks must not be worn with sandals and closed in shoes must be worn in Technology classes for safety reasons.  If your student is taking a Technology subject please ensure they have closed in school shoes for the classes and that they are wearing them, or bring them to school, on the days they have Technology classes.
